1. The Service

Crucible is a self-discipline and habit-accountability app. It lets you follow a structured program of daily habits, record completions and misses, track streaks and progress, compete with challengers, and receive reminders. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Not Medical Advice — Train at Your Own Risk

Crucible supports general wellness and discipline goals. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, nutritional, or other professional advice. The program includes physical activity, a committed sleep schedule, and dietary discipline; whether those are appropriate for you is your responsibility. Consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise, sleep, diet, or wellness regimen — especially if you have a medical condition — and stop and seek help if you experience pain or concerning symptoms. You participate in the program at your own risk, and you should never disregard professional advice because of something in the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. We ask for your birth month and year when you create an account to check this. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Accounts

An account is required to use Crucible. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Billing (Crucible Premium)

Parts of the App may be offered as an optional paid subscription ("Crucible Premium"). Where available:

• Billing. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by us directly. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. You can cancel anytime in your app store subscription settings (Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then. Deleting the App or your account does not by itself cancel a subscription.
• Free trials. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial terms are shown at sign-up.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies; we cannot issue refunds for store-billed purchases ourselves.
• Changes. We may change subscription prices or included features prospectively; price changes apply no earlier than your next renewal and are communicated through the store's notice process, where you can cancel before they take effect.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you enter — your reasons, habit records, committed sleep schedule, and notes ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the App for you (for example, syncing it across your devices). You can export or erase Your Content at any time from within the App. Share cards you generate are yours to post — what you publish from the App is your choice and your responsibility.

7. Community Features (The Coliseum)

The App lets you connect with other users ("Challengers") by username. Challengers you accept can see limited information about you (see the Privacy Policy) and send you taunts and salutes. Choose a username that does not impersonate others and is not offensive; we may reclaim usernames that violate this or that squat on names in bad faith. Do not use community features to harass, spam, or harm anyone — we may restrict or remove community access, or suspend accounts, to protect users.

8. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the App: no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data, no automated abuse of notification or messaging features, no unlawful use, and no use of the App to harass or harm others.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Artorias Group LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

10. App Stores

Your use of the App is also subject to the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. App store providers (such as Apple and Google) are not parties to these Terms, have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App, and are not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artorias Group LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account and data from within the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
